We are delighted to be able to offer our site visits again this year to students and staff of Bradford schools as part of Bradford Manufacturing Weeks 2021.

We will be limiting the number of students on site at any one time as part of our COVID protocols, but we will still run the site visit in a similar way to previous years.

The visit starts with a short presentation about who we are, what we do and the wide variety of industries in which we work, focusing on real project solutions we have provided for customers. We will then discuss what engineering is, who can be an engineer and the various routes into engineering and manufacturing. The students will then go on a factory tour looking at some of the technology used in building our bespoke machines and also looking at current projects being built.

New for this year, our apprentices, Dan and Josh have created a video to answer some of the questions that students may have about taking an apprenticeship with a manufacturing or engineering company, based on their own experiences.

We have also created a taster video for schools that may have not visited us before, or those that are unable to visit, so they can get an idea of what we do also.

We are really looking forward to welcoming students back on to site for this innovative initiative from the Bradford Chamber of Commerce.
